As the
City's GIS system has expanded so
has the need for qualified GIS
professionals.
Jason
Collins was hired as the GIS Analyst
in February of 2002. Jason
graduated from
SFA
in May of 2001. Jason has several
years of experience with GIS & GPS
through his college career and his
internship at the Corp of
Engineers. Jason's current
assignments include processing GPS
data and working on GIS layers and
databases.
John
Matthews has worked for the City for
three years, but has recently began
to work with the GIS Department
collecting data. John transferred
from the Engineering Department in
December of 2003. John has
extensive experience with surveying
and AutoCAD. John collects GPS data
for all water & sewer features in
the Lufkin service area.
